Bob -- I don't know if you'll remember me. We met at Safeco Field last September. Your comments about Roger Welsch's book were current at the time and I made a point of buying a nearly new copy of the book very inexpensively on the internet. I finally got around to reading it and found it thoroughly enjoyable. A fun aside: While I am not an avid reader, I am sometimes mistaken for one. One day while at Border's, I enlisted the help of a staffer in finding something I was looking for. As the young woman led me through the store she asked me "So, what have you been reading lately?" Without hestitating a moment I replied "'Diggin' In and Piggin' Out: The Truth About Food and Men' -- really enjoying it." It just rolled off my tongue like a best seller -- it was great! Best wishes to you and Mary Pat.

Hello Karen, Great to hear from you. I gave a copy to brother Dave years ago but I don't know if he still has one or not. If I can scare one up I'll send it to you.
Say hello to all in Greensboro from the Washington Whaleys

I want a copy of this book now! ! ! Cherry Bim sounds wonderful. Of course anything to do with cherries or peaches has my vote, well those two and most any other berry like blue berry or strawberry. Oh and figs too! Can't forget grilled figs with prosciutto and goat cheese.
